World’s Most Instagrammable Honeymoon Destinations

Planning your honeymoon or know someone who is? You’re not alone, as 172,000 google searches are made globally on average each month for honeymoon destinations. Photography and videography experts Thephototeam.co.uk thought where better than Instagram to feel honeymoon inspired.  

Thephototeam did some number crunching whilst searching through the hashtag “honeymoondestinations” on Instagram and found 50 amazing and different destinations. Thephototeam collated the top 26 most instagrammable honeymoon destinations of 2020, with the bottom 5 destinations set to be taking over soon.

Paris topped the list with 120,351,166 hashtags which was almost double the amount found for Bali which came in second place with 67,097,317. Known for its swing, monkey forest and acai bowls, it’s no surprise honeymooners flock here to paradise.

Bali wasn’t the only Indonesian city to make the top 10, Lombok is another instagrammable honeymoon destination if you’re looking to make the most of your honeymoon then you can consider visiting both and taking Instagram by storm.

Surprisingly, Nairobi placed higher than both Dubrovnik and Reykjavik with 3,808,730 hashtags. Could it be promise of seeing wildlife animals?

Sneaking up and joining the ranks is São José do Campos with 575,986 hashtags. This city in Brazil is set to takeover at some point, known for being full of culture, art and beaches – it’s nothing short of the perfect romantic getaway.
