Book your trip in complete confidence with Air France
In the context of the current health crisis and given the very gradual lifting of travel restrictions worldwide, Air France is introducing exceptional measures to assist and reassure its customers.
A fully flexible sales policy
Air France is adapting its commercial measures to enable its customers to book their next trip in complete confidence.
If customers wish to cancel their trip, their ticket can now be changed at no extra cost and without proof, on the date and to the destination* of their choice. If they prefer, they can request a refundable credit voucher. These measures, which provide optimal flexibility, apply to all trips until 31 March 2021.
If their flight is cancelled by the airline, customers can choose to postpone their trip to the date and destination* of their choice, request a full ticket refund or receive a credit voucher, which is also refundable if not used.
Finally, for all trips until the end of the year, customers who are members of the Flying Blue loyalty programme will have their Miles and experience points (XP) doubled.
Since the start of this unprecedented crisis, Air France has significantly strengthened its sales teams dedicated to supporting its customers. Close to 700 agents are currently in charge of handling refund and credit voucher requests. Since January 2020, 2 million requests have been processed and 1.1 billion euros refunded.

A new travel insurance cover for epidemic-related risks
In partnership with Allianz Travel, Air France is extending its travel insurance cover to provide its customers with better protection. The company now also provides them with cover** should they fall ill or be required to quarantine due to an epidemic or pandemic disease such as Covid-19.
This insurance thus allows them to deal with unforeseen expenses with cover in specific events, notably during their trip with medical assistance and refund of medical expenses abroad or additional costs incurred from quarantine (accommodation expenses, for example).
This insurance cover, available to customers at the time of purchasing their ticket on the airfrance.com website and in company customer relations centres, is in addition to the existing Cancellation + missed flight, Multi-risk and Assistance products.

Air France Protect, Air France’s health commitment
The health and well-being of Air France customers and staff are at the heart of the company’s concerns. Air France is committed to providing its customers optimum health and hygiene conditions at each stage of their trip. Grouped under the “Air France Protect” label, the measures implemented by the company are regularly adapted to changes in the current health context.
In line with the current regulations, it is compulsory to wear a surgical mask upon arrival at the airport, where a number of measures have been implemented to guarantee a customer travel experience in optimum conditions of health and safety – application of physical distancing measures, counters equipped with Plexiglass protection screens, regularly disinfected self-service kiosks, hand sanitizer available throughout the airport and the reorganization of customer channels at check-in and boarding to limit contact.
The wearing of surgical masks is also compulsory on board the aircraft and throughout the duration of the trip. The air in the cabin is renewed every 3 minutes. The air recycling system on board Air France aircraft is equipped with HEPA – High Efficiency Particulate Air – filters identical to those used in hospital operating theatres. In addition, to limit interaction, the in-flight service has been simplified – the meal and beverage service has been completely adapted and duty-free sales have been temporarily suspended. The newspapers and magazines offer is now fully-digital, accessible in the Air France Play app.
Air France has also reinforced aircraft cleaning procedures, notably with the disinfection of all surfaces in contact with customers such as armrests, tables and screens before each flight. A specific procedure for disinfecting aircraft by spraying an approved virucidal product has also been introduced.
Reopening the skies, flight after flight
Air France is currently operating flights to close to 170 destinations, including over 70 cities in Europe, several international routes worldwide and its entire network in France, including the French Overseas Departments and Corsica. Sălbatica Botswana – Safari de lux …
Am fost la unul dintre cele mai spectaculoase locuri de aventură din
lume. Mirosurile, culorile, peisajul, apelurile și imaginile animalelor din
Botswana sunt speciale, nu te vor părăsi toată viața …
Zborul meu spre Johannesburg cu Emirates a fost plăcut și la timp. Transferul către Maun a avut loc cu o aeronavă mai mică și mai îngustă, de la Airlink, o companie aeriană parteneră a SAA, ceea ce nu a fost o problemă pentru o oră jumătate de zbor. Aeroportul Maun din nordul Botswanei este centrul de afaceri pentru safari, în special în Delta Okavango, cu un număr corespunzător de aeronave mici, disponibile pentru turiștii de safari. Doar calea aeriană duce în inima pustiei și începe aici, în Maun. Densitatea turiștilor îmbrăcați în safari este mare. Toată lumea este aici pentru a merge la safari, a privi animale, a se minuna de peisaje care există doar în sudul Africii.

Pentru majoritatea fanilor de safari este ca și cum ai câștiga la loterie. Este fascinația pentru putere în regatul animal și vulnerabilitatea deopotrivă. La scurt timp, următorul punct culminant: un leopard stă confortabil cu cei doi bebeluși ai săi într-un vârf de copac și mă privește de acolo, așa de parcă nu ar nimic nou pentru el. Pisica sălbatică este una dintre celebrul Big Five (leu, bivoli, rinocer, elefant, leopard) și este una dintre speciile pe cale de dispariție.
Vumbura Plains – Cu escorta la camera ta
Din nou, cu aeronava ușoară Wilderness Air, ajung la următoarea mea destinație. Tabăra de lux cu suprafața de 60.000 de hectare este ascunsă între copacii puternici din nordul extrem al deltei. Aproape inconștient din exterior, Vumbura Plains se dovedește a o lojă de lux exclusivistă când privești în interior. Leii și hienele își caută prada în jurul taberei, antilopele și girafele își potolesc setea pe râul din apropierea lojii, iar o turmă pașnică de elefanți trece pe lângă bungalourile spațioase, mobilate confortabil.
La cină, sub strălucirea lămpilor cu kerosen, obținem o demonstrație de spectacole de dans și canto din Botswana înainte ca o furtună puternică să oprească brusc totul. La uscat, toți oaspeții stau la o masă lungă, se cunosc și povestesc despre cele văzute pe parcursul călătoriei lor. După cină, suntem escortați în camere. Se poate întâmpla ca un animal să stea brusc în fața ta. Cu toate acestea, nimeni nu este echipat cu pușcă: Wilderness reprezintă o manipulare pașnică a animalelor. „Din fata leilor nu ar trebui să fugi niciodată, ci să îi privești direct în ochi”, îmi spune Paul. Cine aleargă este, probabil, pradă. Pentru elefanți sau hipopotami, înseamnă: stai nemișcat și apoi mergi încet înapoi. Deși aceste povești mă neliniștesc un
pic, tot cad obosit în patul, care, la fel ca restul facilităților din toate taberele
Wilderness, este foarte luxos. Sunete de insecte afară, iar în depărtare aud răgetul unui leu.
Apropo, Vumbura Plains este înconjurat permanent de cursurile de apă ale
Okavango și, de asemenea, aproape de o câmpie mare și uscată, motiv pentru care, pe lângă jeep și drumeții, sunt oferite excursii cu bărci cu motor sau Mokoros tradiționale.
Kings Pool – surprize la contor
După un alt zbor cu compania aeriană internă, ajung în tabăra Kings Pool. Aceasta este situată într-o zonă de concesiune privată de la granița cu Parcul Național Chobe, de vis la laguna Kings Pool și râul Linyanti. Și aici experiențele curg după alta.
Girafe, maimuțe, zebre, antilope, hipopotami și elefanți în sălbăticie. Da, elefanții sunt cu adevărat peste tot aici. Elefanții s-ar putea deplasa aproape în tăcere prin tușuri cu picioarele lor foarte căptușite dacă nu ar atât de însărcinați și nu și-ar folosi proboscida pentru a muta ecare ramură a copacului până când se va rupe. Acestea nu sunt doar zgomote care îi trădează, dar și urme de devastare pe calea lor, care pot văzute peste tot. Elefanții mănâncă scoarță de copac, iarbă, frunze, rădăcini și fructe în jur de 18 ore pe zi. În timpul unui apus de soare în mijlocul sălbăticiei, care întâmplător are loc în jurul orei 18:00 în fiecare zi, cu o băutură nă în mână, experimentez acest fenomen, așa nu l-am mai văzut vreodată.
Regiunea este cunoscută pentru observarea efectivelor mari de elefanți și a multor hipopotami. Nou renovată, tabăra are o zonă de luat masa, bar, lounge, boma și o piscină mică. Camerele de lux sunt bine echipate. De asemenea, sunteți foarte aproape de natură în zona principală a taberei. Zona de luat masa, lounge-ul și zona de relaxare cu șemineu se aă pe o terasă ridicată din lemn direct pe malul râului. De asemenea, pe mal si în râul din față poți avea norocul să asiști la o demonstrație a masculului dominant cu urlete și scufundări în râu. De nedescris …
A doua zi este cald și mă bucur că am voie să stau în vehiculul de safari deschis pentru a simți adierea ușoară a vântul. De la distanță, observam doi lei stând somnoroși în iarbă. Ghidul meu oprește vehiculul la aproximativ trei metri distanță de marile pisici. Ei mă privesc doar scurt.
Din nou, cu greu îmi vine să cred că pot sta atât de aproape de astfel de prădători periculoși într-un vehicul deschis și să fac poze în mod continuu. Mergem mai departe – și ce surpriză: la sfârșitul după-amiezii vedem din nou cei doi lei pe râul Linyanti în timp ce privim o turmă de antilope păscând în apropiere. Deodată, există mișcare. Ambii lei se plimbă în direcția mea. Acum sunt puțin îngrijorat; ce au de gând cei doi lei? Mă bazez pe ghidul meu, care stă la volan cu calm și urmărește totul. Între timp, cei doi lei trec pe lângă scaunul meu ridicat la un metru și se
îndreaptă spre apă. În apusul soarelui, cei doi se fac confortabili la câțiva metri de mine și privesc în direcția antilopelor, care urmăresc îndeaproape ecare mișcare a celor doi. Ce experiență. El este regele, fără nici o îndoială.
Un safari în Botswana înseamnă întâlnirea extraordinară, călătoriile dus-întors ce oferă posibilitatea de a face observații spectaculoase asupra animalelor de pe uscat și apă, unde fauna sălbatică este la doar câțiva metri distanță.
Sfatul meu: experimentează senzația de spațiu nesfârșit și simte libertatea într-unul din ultimele paradisuri naturale de pe pământ. Dacă este posibil, stați într-o tabără de safari timp de trei zile.
Botswana poate vizitată tot anul. Un moment foarte bun pentru a călători este de la sfârșitul lunii aprilie până la jumătatea lunii noiembrie. Observarea sălbăticiei are loc de obicei dimineața devreme și după-amiaza
târzie. Deșertul, savana, pădurea și mlaștinile se întâlnesc aici.

Anurak Lodge in Thailand Wins PATA Grand Award for Sustainability
Anurak’s green credentials secure the ‘best of the best’ award
for operator YAANA Ventures.
YAANA Ventures, the operator of Anurak Community Lodge at Khao Sok National Park in southern Thailand, has been awarded the 2020 Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Grand Award in the Sustainability category.
The winners were announced during the online PATA Gold Awards presentation as part of Virtual PATA Travel Mart 2020, taking place September 23-27.
Twenty-three PATA Gold Awards were announced 24 September at the virtual awards ceremony. Three ‘best of the best’ Grand awards were given: one each for marketing, human capital development, and sustainability.
The climate change/sustainability category was judged on measures that create a low-carbon, sustainable future for the travel industry and engage local communities. Since opening in 2016, Anurak’s operation has been guided by an ethos of reduce, reuse and recycle. Anurak Community Lodge achieved Travelife Gold certification in 2019.
Guests and staff today are encouraged to save energy and water. Single-use plastic, Styrofoam and cardboard plates are banned. Plastic straws have been replaced with bamboo and metal ones. An onsite recycling station has been set up, along with a composting area. A grey water treatment filter system for laundry wastewater is in place. Water from that system is being used on the Rainforest Rising project, Anurak’s project to return two rai (3,226 sqm; 0.8 acres) of former palm oil plantation beside the lodge to indigenous lowland evergreen forest by 2023.

Destinații și vacanțe pentru famili
Aici îți recomand, de fiecare dată, doar acele destinații care știu sigur că se potrivesc celor care călătoresc împreună cu familia sau cu copiii.
Cum arată acele locuri? Din punctul meu de vedere, există câteva elemente de care țin mereu cont. Plaja trebuie să fie cu nisip fin iar intrarea în apă să fie una lină. Regimul de masă trebuie să fie unul potrivit familiei tale iar preparatele să fie gustoase. Pe cât posibil, restaurantele să fie variate, astfel încât să vă bucurați de o diversitate gastronimică. Serviciile de servire, serviciile spa și facilitățile pentru copii sunt foarte imporante și ele. Iar destinația trebuie să se potrivească dorințelor tale de relaxare sau de explorare.
Acestea sunt principalele lucruri de care eu țin cont atunci când recomand o ofertă de vacanță pentru familii cu copii.
Vacanțelor exotice si circuite
Există numeroase oferte de vacanțe exotice dar eu mizez foarte tare pe partea de informare a turiștilor. Asta pentru că eu îmi doresc ca turistul să se simtă perfect, acolo. Să se întroarcă din sejurul său exotic total impresionat de destinațiile vizitate și de serviciile de care a beneficiat. Vreau ca el să își dorească cu nerăbdare următoarea vacanță. Cum pot face asta? Prin informare.
Atunci când promovăm o destinație exotică, este ușor să îi furăm privirea oricui. Dar este musai ca destinația exotică respectivă să se potrivească cu dorințele reale ale turistului. Așa că eu trebuie să cunosc ce își dorește el, cu adevărat pentru ca apoi să îmi dau seama dacă o destinație ca Zanzibar este potrivită pentru el sau dacă o vacanță în Kenya este chiar ceea ce își dorește clientul. Există destinații care mizează foarte mult pe experiențe și mai puțin pe calitatea serviciilor turistice și care nu sunt tocmai accesibile nici măcar ca legături de zbor. De aici, găsim împreună, varianta cea mai potrivită.
Iar cea de-a treia categorie de care îți vorbesc astăzi, este cea a croazierelor. Unul dintre avantajele majore de a merge într-o croazieră este acela că poți vizita numeroase destinații, fără prea mult efort. Pe un vas imens, confortabil și cu toate facilitățile, vei colinda lumea întreagă. Poți alege dintre nenumărate itinerarii, în Europa, în America, Asia și orice alte colțuri de lume, pentru că toate sunt gândite special pentru ca turiștii să atingă destinațiile cele mai spectaculoase.
Croazierele sunt experiențe foarte interesante și din ce în ce mai atractive pentru mulți turiști, indiferent de vârstă și de buget. Diversitatea ofertelor este foarte mare așa că poți alege exact ce îți dorești să vizitezi.
Cele mai frumoase locuri din Romania
Iti plac vacantele? Adori sa pleci cu masina intr-un mic concediu ori de cate ori ai ocazia? Pentru asta trebuie sa stii foarte bine harta rutiera a Romaniei si sa stii care sunt drumurile si scurtaturile pentru a putea ajunge in locul mult dorit.

Viscri, judetul Brasov
Viscri nu o sa inceteze niciodata sa te surprinda. Este un loc atat de linistit dar atat de populat de oameni. Este un loc conservat in medievalitate si care a reusit sa isi pastreze curzimea de-a lungul timpului. Poti petrece aici cateva clipe de poveste si poti dormi in casele localnicilor in plus poti gusta din mancarea lor traditionala.
Manastirea Voronet, Gura Humorului, Suceava
Bucovina este o zona pe care nu trebuie sa o scapi din vedere. Aici este locul perfect unde tehnologia se impleteste cu traditia si istoria. Aici oamenii sunt asa cum vezi numai in basme.
Manastirea Voronet este un loc in care te poti ruga ore in sir si unde vei simti mai buna si mai credincioasa.
Cascada Cailor, Muntii Rodnei
Cascada Cailor este foarte aproape de statiunea Borsa. Aceasta cascada este cea mai intinsa cascada de la teritoriul Romaniei, mai exact are 90 de metri. In aceasta minunata zona vei auzi doar linistea apei si te vei bucura de un loc de poveste.
Delta Dunarii
Delta Dunarii este locul in care te vei putea bucura de pelicani si de nuferi la orice ora din zi. Este locul in care te poti deconecta si in care te poti bucura de cateva momente de liniste.
Transfagarasan
Transfagarasan este un loc in care te poti bucura de cei mai inalti multi ai Fagarasului. Este un drum salbatic care se imbina perfect cu soseaua. Te vei bucura de cateva ore pline de relaxare in care sa conteze doar linistea si peisajele de-a dreptul sublime care iti vor iesi in cale.
Avem o tara frumoasa de care ar trebui sa ne bucuram cat mai mult.

It’s been a while since we were last in touch, but we wanted to update you on our latest offering.
This autumn and winter we’re encouraging guests to consider basing themselves with us in Lanzarote for long stays, remote working in paradise. Why not swap British winter, stress and negative news chatter for a positive, healthy lifestyle choice?
Fibre Optic broadband, sunshine and a sea view, work-life balance doesn’t get any better. More of our guests are taking the plunge and booking for longer stays: We’ve just arranged a desk for two days a week in our Costa Teguise office for a guest coming for some extended winter sunshine and surf.
Instead of thinking of Lanzarote as an off-limits holiday destination, travellers with the flexibility to work from anywhere are being invited to relocate and live as one of the Lanzarote Retreats family for a few weeks or more at our beautiful eco village; it’s such a shame to have built all of this and to have no-one to share it with.
Some people will inevitably have found working at home a lonely and insular experience at times. As well as a choice of stunning beachside rental properties, our Eco Village Finca de Arrieta offers the perfect sense of community. We’ll be turning the chill-out area into a communal workspace from November onwards. Guests will be able to enjoy yoga, surf lessons and help tend the veg patch, along with embracing everything we love about the Lanzarote lifestyle.

Hotel Okura Amsterdam gives seven suites a complete makeover
The five-star hotel has given the suites and The Lounge a new interior
Hotel Okura Amsterdam has given seven of its suites a complete makeover. The renovation, which began in December 2019, included a complete overhaul of the design. Architect Bert Verwey was in charge of the renovation of the suites and The Lounge, creating a spacious, comfortable and serene ambience.
Bert Verwey – the same architect who redesigned the Twenty Third Bar and Ciel Bleu Restaurant in 2005 and 2015 – opted for a minimalist design in the seven suites and The Lounge, which matches the hotel’s philosophy. The design includes silk wall coverings and specially-produced carpets for the floors. The suites are decorated with prints, sculptures and oil paintings by internationally renowned artist Joseph Cals. The furniture and materials in subdued colours and texture combined with the unobtrusive lightning blend into a harmonious whole. The style is restful and modern, but also provides a sense of warmth.
