So, if you would like an Aries to say yes, make sure you get over your fear of heights.

Taurus – at a family gathering

If you are going to propose to a Taurus, the best way to do it is at a family gathering. Taurus people are very family orientated and love having their loved ones around them. Sharing this experience with them would be the ultimate proposal!

Gemini – on a private beach

Centara Hotels & Resorts Accelerates Expansion in 2020 with Eight New Hotels and Resorts in Four New Countries

Thailand’s leading hotel operator reveals plans to add almost 2,000 new rooms across multiple markets in 2020, as it moves towards its target of becoming a top 100 global hotel group

As the world enters a new decade, Centara Hotels & Resorts, Thailand’s leading hotel operator, is accelerating its global expansion with plans to open new hotels and resorts in some of the world’s most dynamic destinations.

In 2020, Centara expects to open eight new properties, adding four countries to the company’s world map and enhancing its leadership position in Thailand. This will increase the group’s worldwide inventory by almost 2,000 rooms and suites, in line with a strategic plan to make Centara a top 100 global hotel operator within five years.

As part of this expansion, Centara’s highly anticipated first resort of its new luxury brand will be unveiled at the end of 2020, following the refurbishment and repositioning of Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui. This popular beachfront retreat closed temporarily in 2019 to facilitate an extensive upgrade. Its grand reopening in late 2020 will mark the launch of Centara’s sixth hotel brand, the name of which will be announced shortly.

Centra by Centara Cha Am Beach Resort Hua Hin is expected to open in April 2020. Located on pristine Cha-Am Beach,this190-room and suite hotel will be surrounded by attractions, including theme parks, golf courses, retail outlets and a Royal palace. COSI, Centara’s affordable lifestyle brand, will also drive Centara’s domestic growth in Thailand. After the recent addition of hotels in Pattaya and Koh Samui, this cutting-edge concept will enter another popular beach resort destination in Q4, with the launch of the 142-room COSI Krabi Ao Nang Beach.

Southeast Asia will be a major focus area for Centara in 2020. The company will plant its flag in two new countries this year; the 95-room Centara KMA Resort Inle Lake will become its first location in Myanmar in Q2, and the 162-room Centara Plumeria Resort Pakse will launch in Q4 to mark Centara’s introduction to Laos. Both properties will bring international-standard accommodation to their respective markets, which are rising in popularity with travellers. Marriott International Signs Landmark Deal To Open World’s Largest Fairfield By Marriott Hotel In Makkah, Saudi Arabia

2,600-room hotel would be the largest Fairfield, and brand’s first in Middle East and Africa

Marriott International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR) today announced that it has signed a landmark agreement with Nahdet Al-Mashaer to open a 2,600-room Fairfield by Marriott property in Makkah. The agreement is expected to deliver the first Fairfield by Marriott property to the Middle East and Africa region, create the largest Fairfield hotel in the world and bring one of the largest hotels to the growing religious destination of Makkah. Construction for the Fairfield by Marriott Makkah Al Naseem has already commenced and the hotel is slated to open in 2023.

Cămila joacă un rol important în cultura arabă. Ea nu este doar un animal care aduce beneficii, ci şi un simbol. În ciuda faptului că o cămilă dă mai puţin lapte decât o vacă, este interesantă şi din alte puncte de vedere, de expemplu: vara, când deşertul este fierbinte, ea poate rezista pâna la 5 zile fără apă, iar iarna chiar şi câteva săptămâni. Aceste animale reţin apa în
tot corpul, nu doar în cocoaşe.

Muzeul cămilei din Dubai
Cămila aparţine culturii beduine din Dubai, cultură în care turiştii pot pătrunde adânc cu ajutorul Muzeului Cămilei. Acest muzeu este situat în cartierul Al Shindagha, pe malul râului Creek din Dubai şi se află într-un staul vechi de cămile. Clădirea a fost restaurată în anul 1940 şi îi aparţinea şeicului Rashid
bin Saeed Al Maktoum, al optulea conducător al Emiratelor Arabe, care a participat şi la înfiinţarea Federaţiei Emiratelor Arabe Unite. Aici te poţi informa despre animale, anatomia acestora, foloasele lor şi legăturile speciale care există între om şi animal. O întâlnire culinară cu cămila
Carnea de cămilă este considerată o delicatesă în Dubai. iubitor de carne ar trebui să guste neapărat carnea de cămilă, fie ca burger, friptură sau carpaccio. Laptele de cămilă se produce, printre altele, la ferma EmiratesIndustry for Camel Milk and Products şi se află la jumătate de oră distanţă de Dubai. La această fermă traiesc 4700 de cămile şi 50 de tauri. Această fermă distribuie pe piaţă atât marca de lapte „Camelicious“, cât şi ciocolata Al Nassma. Tot
în acest loc se experimentează şi utilizarea laptelui pe plan medical şi beneficiile acestuia.

Vizitarea unei ferme de cămile la „Kamel-Uschi“
Deşertul le oferă turiştilor posibilitatea să vadă o cămilă de aproape. La o oră distanţă de Dubai se află ferma de cămile a nemţoaicei Ursula Musch, cunoscută sub numele „Kamel- Uschi“, care creşte aici şi cămile pentru întreceri. Ea este de origine şvabă şi trăieşte de peste 20 de ani în Dubai, aducându-le turiştilor, cultura şi bucătăria beduinilor mai aproape. Îşi serveşte oaspeţii cu ceai şi prăjituri, dar şi cu bucate tradiţionale din bucătăria autentică. Puteţi iniţia o aventură cu cămile la ferma acesteia optând, de exemplu, pentru o plimbare cu cămila, o seară autentică sau un pachet de aventură personalizat.

Pentru cei interesaţi de sport: întrecerei cu cămile
Întrecerea cămilelor este sportul naţional al Dubaiului şi garantează amintiri impresionante şi fotografii minunate. Întrecerile au loc în lunile de iarnă, din septembrie pâna în martie, şi de cele mai multe ori dimineaţa foarte devreme.
Tehnologia performantă a intrat în acest sport, deoarece în loc de jochei se folosesc roboţi. Aceştia au 70 centimetri, cântăresc cca. 25 kilograme, sunt dotaţi cu GPS şi pot fi ghidaţi cu ajutorul unei telecomenzi. Cămilele ating pe pistă o viteză de 70 kilometri pe oră.

Un altfel de Polo
Un alt sport practicat în Dubai este Polo-ul cu cămile. Polo Equestrian Club, situat în vecinatatea lui Studio City, oferă, pe lângă altele, şi posibilitatea de a testa singur sportul lor tradiţional. Nu sunt necesare cunoştinţe. Prima dată jucătorii învaţă regulile jocului de Polo, apoi se avântă singuri pe gazon. Cine se simte mai în siguranţă în şaua unui cal, poate călări la Polo Equestian Club, iar copiii pot face şi ei o plimbare cu poneiul.

Oglindă, oglinjoară … Bun venit la concursul de frumuseţe destinat
cămilelor!

La prima vedere, cămilele pot fi pentru europeni orice altceva decât magnifice, dar în zona respectivă există chiar şi concursuri de frumuseţe destinate cămilelor. Criteriile decisive ale concursului sunt: un cap puternic, un spate înalt, un gât lung, cocoaşe simetrice, mari, cât şi o blană lucioasă. Propietarul celei mai frumoase cămile câştigă o maşină din clasa celor de lux. Spectatorii urmăresc întreg concursul, savurând un ceai, pe ecrane mari, de la o tribună
în stil beduin.

Cămile vesele şi colorate se găsesc la Camel Company, în magazinele
din incinta Mall-ului din Dubai sau în Online-Shop.
Compania aeriană a Emiratelor Arabe zboară zilnic din numeroase

Six Senses Laamu Introduces Blackwater Diving in the Maldives

For many guests, diving at Six Senses Laamu is a special experience because of guaranteed encounters with megafauna including manta rays, sharks and turtles; common finds in the abundant dive sites of Laamu Atoll, which guests enjoy all to themselves. Now the resort’s dive center, Deep Blue Divers, is ready to present the atoll’s uniqueness in a different light. It has become the first premium resort to introduce blackwater diving in the Maldives, which is gaining popularity across the globe among many dive enthusiasts.

The blackwater diving experience is different from a typical day or night dive. It takes place in the open ocean, with divers drifting with the current in mid-water. Divers are guided by a string of LED lights attached to a vertical rope tethered to a surface-floating buoy. The lights also attract the deep dwelling, often alien-looking micro creatures, emerging vertically every night from the abyss of the ocean in search of food, in one of the greatest migrations happening on the planet.

„We are very lucky to be some of the first divers to witness this in the Maldives. There is no specific area or special time of the night to do this dive. Ocean creatures we would never normally encounter are drawn from the depths and darkness to feed on zooplankton that are attracted to the lights,“ explained Philippa Roe, one of the senior marine biologists working with the resort’s Maldives Underwater Initiative (MUI).

Many of these critters, usually smaller than a human thumb, are ethereal reef fish in their juvenile phase, or invertebrates such as pygmy squids, fluorescent bristle worms and rainbow-pulsating comb jellies. “Expect the unexpected, because most, if not all, of the discoveries you make on a blackwater dive will be new to you. If you are lucky, they may be new to science as well,” exclaimed Marteyne van Well, general manager of Six Senses Laamu and an avid diver, who is also among the first people to experience the blackwater dive in Laamu Atoll.

Up-close and personal encounters with these wonders of the nocturnal pelagic sea life, against the striking black background, create perfect photo opportunities for underwater photographers and a fascinating experience for the adventurous divers to feed their sense of adventure.

“No two blackwater dives are ever the same, even when going several nights in a row. And each dive yields unexpected new treasures for everyone from novices to the most experienced divers,” commented Sascha Janson, resident photo pro at Deep Blue Divers. There is no specific training required to do a blackwater dive but any diver with good buoyancy skills can participate in this experience.
